VOLUNTEER
OPPORTUNITIES
| Camp Fire Boys and Girls, with
national headquarters in Kansas City, MO., has provided educational
programming for youth since 1910. Today, Camp Fire serves
approximately 629,000 boys and girls annually through 125 councils in 41
states and the District of Columbia. As a not-for-profit, youth
development organization, Camp Fire provides exciting programs that include
mentoring opportunities through clubs, environmental education through
camping and direct child care services. Other innovative activities
include an in-school service-learning curriculum and programs designed specifically
for urban youth and teen-agers. |
| Volunteers are always welcome at Camp Fire Boys and Girls! Just a few
hours of volunteer time each month can make a meaningful difference in the
lives of children and youth. Camp Fire youth and adult volunteers are
provided with training materials and staff support. As a volunteer,
you'll give service to others, get involved in your community, be recognized
for your achievements and --- last, but not least ---- have some fun
yourself. |
